 This is a great little textile box to have sitting on your sewing table so that you can 

add any small pieces of fabric that will be useful for future  project.

The kit contains the pattern, 12 squares for creating your modern boro, 

sashiko needle, sashiko thread, sarashi fabric for building up your boro on, 

base fabric, lining fabric, Pellon and fabric stabiliser.

Fan Pin Cushion

 This cute little Pin Cushion is a kit and pattern revived from yester-year.

Finished size: 4.5" 

Your kit contains: the plain fabric, a print backing fabric, carbon tracing paper, 

sashiko needle, sashiko thread and full pattern.

 I admit to a new addiction - textile books! 

They are so much fun when combined with Slow Stitching.

I have made them in Linen and Op Shop finds as well as Japanese Colours and theme.

I constructed my fabric roll on Japanese Sarashi fabric which is 13" wide, 

100% cotton and an open weave which is easy to stitch through.

$7.50 per metre.

Modern Boro Drawstring Bag

 This Drawstring Bag is construction using the Modern Japanese Boro technique. 

It measures 8.5” high and the oval base is 8½” by 6¾”.

  

The contains everything you need to make the bag - a collection of indigo fabric pieces, 

the lining and base fabrics, stabilizer, cord, covering discs for the end of the bag ties, 

Sashiko threads and a needle, pattern.

You will only need to add: Fabric Glue Pen eg: Sewline, Removable Fabric 

Marking Pen eg: Sewline Fabric Pencil, sharp fabric scissors.
