Japanese Sashiko with Colourful Flowers Quilt

 

This quilt is made up of 81 blocks: 17 traditional hand stitched sashiko blocks using Kamon

(Family Crest) designs, 20 hand appliqued colourful flowers and 44 print fabric squares

A plain indigo border with a subtle quilting fan design.

Finished size: 64" or 163cm.

The pattern is $30.00 and contains full instructions and all the sashiko designs.

A fabric roll of the indigo fabric needed is $69.00

A fabric roll of the blossom print is $42.00

Then you can choose the colourful fabrics for the flowers from your stash. You need a 6" square for each flower.

Sashiko Snippet Box

This is a useful little textile box to have on your sewing table 

to store all sort of things in.

It is 6" tall.

 This is a great little textile box to have sitting on your sewing table so that you can 

add any small pieces of fabric that will be useful for future  project.
